Founder of the Sydney JUG, conference organiser and general information-hoover in the Joomlasphere. Dex has been working with Joomla since 2005, in site production, design, templating and training.

Audra Barclay

A Joomla consultant and seasoned trainer, Audra is very active in the Sydney Joomla User Group and as moderator of joomladay.org.au.

Workshop Overview

An introduction to installing, setting up and maintaining your Joomla web site.

This session is for beginners, end users and administrators - anyone new to Joomla and wanting to understand the basics of setting up and maintain a Joomla site.

Workshop Content

A practical hands-on workshop where you will learn the first steps in installation, configuration and maintenance of Joomla. You will use a test Joomla site to explore what you are learning during the workshop. The workshop will help you find your way around Joomla, and explore the architecture of the system.
