Conference
This our third year and it's a HUGE one. We have a fantastic speaker line-up of Joomla core team, including Andrew Eddie, Sam Moffat and Brad Baker, and hand-picked industry experts, including Steve Burge of Alledia.com, working alongside inspiring presentations of real-life success stories from our local Joomla community. There is a full day of hands-on workshops on the Sunday, to ensure that we all get the most from our expert speakers whilst they are in town. Sessions for absolute beginners through to developers.

This is a Joomla! community weekend for everyone: professionals, techies, developers, students, designers, end users and the merely curious. There is a networking social drinks event on Saturday night (not to be missed!) where we can speed-date you to your next Joomla connection. Please feel free to spread the word on your social networks using tag #sjd09 and forward this to your friends and colleagues in the Joomlasphere.

Tickets
There is no ticket! We've gone eco-friendly this year - minimal printing. Just turn up with your ID.
On Saturday, the conference ticket includes refreshments, and for early birds who book by September 30th, a free conference t-shirt.
On Sunday, the ticket includes the workshop only. You will need to forage for food as workshops are half day only.

It was indeed a great conference on Saturday. Very well organized and value for money. I wasn't quite sure of attending this the night before (even though bought the tickets in month advance) but then when I was there on Saturday, it was unbelievable. Thanks to Dex and all speakers, volunteers for such a great event. Well done.

Hi, big thanks to all the organisers and speakers. It was without question the most value for money conference I have ever been to. Added to that I learned a few things as well!! Would have loved to attend Sunday, but had to rush to Phillip Island to watch Casey Stoner win the MotoGP.
Well done for the Saturday, it has given me a lot of motivation to become more active in this community - you were all a really friendly bunch.

We are running a Joomla 101 workshop Oct 18th for newbie users. Anyone out there interested in a Joomla 102 workshop, picking up where 101 left off? Intro to installing templates, modules, upgrades, components?
